Mircom appoints Senior Director, Global Marketing Communications
TORONTO, ON, CANADA – January 11, 2017 – The Mircom Group of Companies is delighted to announce the appointment of Linda Mansillo Kear as Senior Director, Global Marking Communications. In this newly developed role, Linda will be reporting to Rick Falbo, Executive Vice President, Business Development.
As an experienced marketing and communications leader, Linda has helped world-class companies and top-tier advertising agencies develop and grow their business through award-winning campaigns. Linda’s work and campaigns have received critical acclaim and recognition, including the prestigious Cannes Lion and CLIO awards.
From 2008 to 2015, Linda led a global team of marketing communications professionals with Tyco International, helping them achieve sales, brand and business building goals in global markets. During her tenure with Tyco and as the VP of Global Marketing Communications, Linda had responsibility for the external marketing communications strategy and vision supporting the company’s portfolio of security brands, including American Dynamics, Software House, DSC, C24, Kantech, Sur-Gard, Visonic, Bentel, CEM Systems, Elpas and Exaq. More recently, Linda was the Principal for her own Marketing Communications Consulting firm.
Linda is an alumnus of the Ryerson, Applied Arts, Communication and Design Program and has obtained the CPPP Certification through the Institute of Canadian Advertisers (ICA).
With the addition of Linda to the Mircom senior management team and in collaboration with Michael DeMille, Senior Director of Product Management, the product and communication marketing teams are well positioned to cohesively drive Mircom’s industry leadership.
