“Helping Us Manage Risks Associated with COVID-19 Pandemic & Public Health Emergency

Mircom Technologies Ltd. is closely monitoring the COVID- 19 situation as it continues to escalate globally and in regions across Canada. Recently, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic and public health emergency. This development requires that we work with our valued Customers and Partners to take appropriate actions to manage risks. Our top priority is supporting Mircom Customers and employees through this rapidly evolving situation. Given the nature of the pandemic, Mircom is taking preventative measures to minimize risks associated with COVID-19. In the coming days and weeks, Mircom  will be taking all reasonable efforts to ensure continuity of services to our Customers.

As we continue to carefully assess the COVID-19 situation and the interests of our Customers, Mircom Technicians and Partner service providers will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves and safety glasses while conducting onsite inspections and service calls. Our preventive and proactive measures are being implemented to help ensure the health of Mircom Employees and our community and providing our Customers with the necessary services for the effective operation of fire, access control, and security systems. Amongst other precautionary measures, team members are advised to not report into work if they are experiencing any signs of illness, have travelled recently or been in close contact with those who have travelled or been exposed to COVID-19. Mircom will only deploy technicians, who to our knowledge, are safe and healthy.

To help us better plan and schedule Technician Services, we request that you provide Mircom with information regarding potential risks related to COVID- 19. Many of our Customers have already shared information with us about steps they are taking to ensure a safe environment for their residents.  If you are aware of any actual or suspected COVID-19 cases in your building, please let us know in advance so that we can take appropriate measures with our staff.  We thank you for your cooperation.
