Mircom™ is pleased to offer our FleX-Net™ Technical Training Course to be held in Hollywood, FL. The registration fee includes in-class interaction with the instructor, practical exercises with heavy reference to product manuals/programming software, and detailed technical presentations.  Attendees are responsible for their travel, hotel, breakfast, and dinner arrangements. Mircom will provide lunch and coffee during each training day.

Classes are scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. and end by 4:30 p.m. each day.

As of February 21, 2020, 11:00 pm EST, this FleX-Net training class is now full.  Any registrants that attempt to sign up after this cut off date will be kindly asked to register for another upcoming FleX-Net class in our training calendar.  

Class Enrollment Options and Course Pricing

This is a 3-day class to certify ESDs on how to properly install and service FleX-Net.

Below are two training options that are available for those ESDs when registering for Flex-Net Training.

Kindly read over the following ESD categories and choose your options carefully when registering. Should you have any questions feel free to ask our training team.

Option 1: New FleX-Net Technician – One attendee, one key, and one cable kit

• $2195 + tax per person
• 3 Days of FleX-Net Training (Tuesday to Thursday)
• 8:30 am- 4:30 pm
• For new technicians that have no prior FleX-Net Training and do not have a programming key or cable

Option 2: New Flex-Net Technician – Second attendee, no key, no cable

• $995 + tax per person
• 3 Days of FleX-Net Training (Tuesday to Thursday)
• 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
• For new technicians that have not had prior FleX-Net Training
• For companies that want to send multiple technicians to training and don’t require a key or cable

New ESDs sending an untrained technician or those ESDs that require more activation keys/cables should sign up for Option 1, priced at $2,195. ESDs that are sending multiple technicians for training should also select Option 2 as enrollment of additional techs is priced at a lower $995. Please note however, activation keys and cable kits are not provided to the attending technician at the $995 price point.

Special Note for ESDs that require FX-2000 Training:

Additionally any ESDs that require FX-2000 Training can choose to sign up for Option 1 priced at $2,195. Attendees requiring the FX-2000 Training that attend the 3 Day FleX-Net course will receive installation and servicing knowledge that will sufficiently prepare them to work with the older FX-2000 Fire Alarm panels. Attendees that sign up for Option 1 will also receive a FX-2000 WIBU key and UIMA cable at no additional charge.

Option 3: Existing Flex-Net Equipment, New Technician – One attendee, no key, no cable

• $1795 + tax per person
• 3 Days of FleX-Net Training (Tuesday to Thursday)
• 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
• For ESDs that already have keys and cables but would like to send a new technician with no prior FleX-Net Training

FleX-Net Activation Keys and MGC Cable Kits

Kindly note, during the 3 day in-class session, FleX-Net activation keys and cable kits will be provided on a temporary basis to technicians for the purposes of facilitating training instruction.

Mircom will do its best to provide technicians that registered under Option 1 with FleX-Net activation keys and cable kits on the last day of class instruction.  If activation keys and cable kits are not available for distribution during class, any keys/cables owing will be shipped to the technician’s employer and their company’s head offices 1-2 weeks after the conclusion of the class.

Attendees are also required to bring a laptop computer with the following recommended specifications:

• 1.33GHz CPU or better with at least 2 GB RAM
• Microsoft Windows 10
• 2 USB ports for a WIBU CodeMeter security key and for connecting, uploading and downloading firmware

Training Payment Policy 

*Within 72 hours of registration for in-class training, a sales confirmation order with the owed training enrollment fees will be emailed to the registering technician and company.*

Mircom has an immediate payment policy where the course enrollment fees must be paid in full prior to the start date of the course. Failure to make full payments before class start date will result in the forfeiting of your reserved spot in class, as reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. 

Course enrollment fees will include instruction, course materials, use of software in-class, and other technical hardware where required.  Light refreshments, coffee and lunch will also be provided to attendees.
