FX-2000, FX-3318 and FX-3500 – ESD Administrator Wibu Key Log-In 

The newly updated Java download “Version 8 update 201” is not compatible with the Mircom ESD Security Key Administrator. This version does not allow the user to update their FX-2000, FX-3318 and FX-3500 Green Security Keys. 

In order to resolve the problem, it is recommended degrading the Java download on your computer from “Version 8 update 201” to “Version 8 update 191”.

Once the file is downloaded, uninstall any “Java” files on your computer by using the “Control Panel” and then selecting “Programs and Features”. 

Now install the downloaded “Java” file “Version 8 update 191” by double clicking the executable. Once the Java file is installed, restart your computer and the try updating your green Wibu Security Key.
