The OpenBAS-HV-NXVAV Series controllers are fully programmable terminal unit controllers designed for various VAV and VVT heating and cooling applications.

  • Comes preloaded with a VAV cooling control script (with optional reheat) based on ASHRAE Guideline 36.
  • Supports both script and ladder logic programming through the System Design Studio software (free to download!).
  • Optional integrated airflow sensor supports pressure-independent control strategies and keeps costs down for pressure-dependent control strategies.
  • Optional integrated brushless DC damper actuator simplifies installation and integration.
  • USB port providing local technician access for configuration, commissioning, balancing, and firmware upgrades.
  • Remote IP access for configuration, commissioning, and balancing is supported through the OpenBAS-NWK-ETH3 Ethernet gateway controller.
  • Easily commission and balance through mobile-friendly web pages hosted on an OpenBAS-NWK-ETH3. The web pages can be accessed wirelessly with the addition of a Wifi or LTE router
  • Support for temperature sensors includes ANY type/brand of thermistor and multiple RTD types.
  • Supports up to 10 OpenBAS-HV-WLSTH wireless temperature/humidity sensors (via OpenBAS-HV-RF433R).
  • Supports Belimo’s line of MP-Bus room sensors with or without ePaper touch display.
