Firmware Update Recommendations
As of date code 2626, production of the FleXNet product line and components will begin with FleXNet firmware, V2.0.3. This change is to ensure the most current updates and enhancements are provided to new and existing systems.
Earlier produced product shipping will require the upgrade.
Ideally, this update is intended for new system installations where final testing and verification has not yet been completed. For existing systems, the following recommendations should be considered.
This update may be implemented on systems currently operating on older FX-4000 FleXNet series software.
This update is intended for use on systems currently operating with FleXNet FX-4000 software [V1.12.XX to V1.15.XX]. Software changes should be properly assessed, and appropriate retesting/verification should be completed in accordance to local governing standards and codes.
This update is not recommended for systems currently operating older FleXNet series software V10.X.XX, or V11.X.XX, V12.X.XX without Mircom application team support.
The enhancements and changes are listed and explained throughout this document. Ensure that this document is carefully reviewed in its entirety
Plan the update and retesting according to all applicable national and local requirements
Review the system configuration following the update to ensure no unintended changes or modifications have occurred.
Where applicable, test all system operations which may be affected following the system update.
