We are excited to inform you about significant enhancements we’ve made to our FX-400 and FX-401 Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels. These enhancements bring added functionality and versatility to your fire safety systems. Here’s what you need to know:
Upgrade Requirements
To benefit from these enhancements, please ensure that your systems meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Firmware Version: SO-434 Firmware V2.1.3
- Minimum Configurator Version: MSW-045 V2.1.0

List of Enhancements
Our latest update includes:
- Device sub-addressing for efficient utilization of physical address space
- Support for new MGC MIX-4000 devices, such as the Photoelectric Duct Detector and Multi-Modules
- 4-20mA functionality now available on the MIX-4042 module
- Compatibility with IPS-2424DS and IPS-4848 switch adders
- Introduction of a group bypass switch
- Output zones that can be operated through group commands
- A dual relay module for independent relay operation
- Event time stamps now provided in seconds
- Buzzer Silence can be repurposed as Auxiliary Reset
- Migration to 32-bit correlations, allowing larger correlation tables
- Repurposing of the “No Flashing” flag to indicate devices that will not flash their LED
- Support for auto suite silence
