OPENBAS-HV-NXVAV Series

Thank you for your business and continued interest in Mircom’s OpenBAS Building Automation System. We are pleased to announce the official release of four new OpenBAS-HV-NXVAV Series controllers, compatible with the free-to-download, System Design Studio configurator software. These controllers have been listed to the UL 60730-1 and CAN/CSA E 60730-1 standards, ensuring it meets rigorous safety and reliability standards for trusted building automation performance.
The minimum System Design Studio version required to support these controllers is 2.1.0.

  • Fully Programmable: Supports both Script and Ladder Logic programming.
  • Highly Compatible: Supports Belimo MP, BACnet/MSTP, Modbus/RTU, Optomux, and N2-Open protocols out-of-the-box.
  • Highly Accessible: Supports local and remote configuration through onboard USB port or over IP via OpenBAS-NWK-ETH3.
  • Highly Adaptable: Supports up to 10 wireless OpenBAS-HV-WLSTH sensors via OpenBAS-HV-RF433R.

While the new firmware is being released on the web site, shipped products may continue to have the existing firmware (See LT-6630 – Driver installation and Firmware Upgrade Procedures), as the existing stock is depleted. Installers are encouraged to update new installations but are free to keep existing systems running at the previous version if they simply replacing defective parts. Mircom strives to offer the highest quality products and services. On occasion, an issue may require field action and we regret when these issues arise. As part of our commitment to quality, we incorporate any findings into a continuous improvement process to better serve our customers in the future.
