MIX-2351AP/(A)AP Smoke Detector

MIX-2351AP(A) device going into False Alarm or Auto Test fail.

Issue:
The MIX-2351AP(A) smoke sensor with a date code starting with “3” (e.g. 3021, 3032 etc) may cause the panel to go into false alarm or auto test failure depending on the firmware and panel the device is installed on. This issue is due to a design change, which deviates from published specifications made by System Sensor to the parameter value on the device itself that is causing an adverse effect on our panels listed below.

Affected Panels:

PanelFirmware
FX-2000N ‘FleXNet’12.1.xx
FX-4000N ‘FleXNet MP’1.0.xx
FX-35003.0.9
FX-33183.0.9

Solution:
Change the device to CLIP protocol or Disable the Auto Test feature located in the job configuration file.

Method:
